Maramataka gardening guidance
Observe your place as you plan your māra
GrowMe+ brings Maramataka guidance into a gardening app made in Aotearoa New Zealand. The app presents the day’s phase and energy alongside practical growing guidance personalised to your area.
Maramataka guidance supports observation and local knowledge. Conditions in your own place always matter. Use the guidance as a prompt to observe your garden and consider what needs attention, alongside the knowledge of your whānau and community.
Connect guidance with everyday growing
The website introduces a simple rhythm: observe, identify, grow and share. Maramataka sits alongside My Māra for tracking plants, Plant ID for a starting point when identifying a plant, Tohunga for personal growing advice and the Kai Map for local food sharing.
Together, these features help organise the questions and observations that come with looking after a garden. The purpose is to support practical decisions and a closer connection with the place where you grow.
